This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Let me make sure you know how much I love such a careful eye as yours. I always hope that my work will stand up to extreme scrutiny, so of course there's no better test than some extreme scrutiny!
Seriously, I cherish feedback on the level you provide, so thank you sooooooo much!
ps - regarding the resizing issue, I should finally have CS up and running in a couple of weeks!
Dude, what an excellent observation about the crane! I'll always think of that now when viewing the image! (I love comments that flesh out my own feelings about the work.)
Yeah, a fair amount of trial and error, and then just obsessive chasing of the artifacts. Honestly, tonal shifts were much more of a problem than simple feature-alignment. You can see a couple that were left in for their positive contribution to the mood of the piece (over to the left, mostly), but there were plenty more that were all difficult to correct.
In any case, glad you liked! It's always good to hear from you, sir!
Glad you loved the newest one! I'm on a kick lately to figure out the best methods for richening color, so that one was a landmark for me. The original shot was actually an over-exposed mess, and quite washed out - wouldn't even have been worth fooling with except that I was really taken with that facial expression. So I'm glad you were too!
